Week 18

This week was pretty sad. Said goodbye to elder Jacob and we had a big Family home evening with all the families that we found together and it just made me realize the impact that we have on people here. But i got a new comp. HEs from mexico so doesnt speak any english but its whatever, i feel like my spanish has gotten a lot better. Sorry i dont have a lot of time this week so ill send somepics and everything and we might havee some baptisms next week.

Week 17

Hey guys!! This weeks been awesome, im sorry im short on time today bc ive gotta do some othere mission stuff!! so ill keep it kind short. 

  Im loving this place, friday we had a Zone Conf. anf there was a video about a man that served here forty years ago and came back to be a temple pres. and he came back and had abig reunion w this family that he taught and the all waent through the temple and it really made me realize how big of an impact this work is. From that one couple who are faithful in the church, to there 30 Grandkids. I was feeling the spirit that day for sure!!

  We had a wedding for a couple whos super young haah but they are the best, they have the strongest testimony ever and they are who i had in mind when i saw that video. Also we baptized a little kid whos parents are eternal inv, and hes the cutest little kid!! 

  Changes are this next week so my comps probably going so well see what happened but i might have a new comp by next week, and im prayingthat i dont leave here.

Week 16

Ill make this short bc i dont have that much time haha. But this last week on saturday we baptized the wife of the guy we baptized last week so they could be confirmed together!! And then sunday we had another one for a lady weve been teaching!! and then this next week weve got three planned! One family and then a son of a eternal investigator family!! Should be a good week!! Weve also got a Zone conf on friday so ill let you know how that goes!! 

  I love you all so very much. IF any of you are on the fence about a mish, Just do it!!!! it has been the best thing ever and im learning so much and can feel the blessings of so many people here!! Love you all and have a good week

Week 15

Week 15

This weeks been pretty great! we had a wedding and baptism for a couple that we found a couple weeks ago. Well only the husband got baptized bc the wife is a little harder, but she's close! Probably on the 21! Its even more awesome bc he is my first convert that i found, we taught and then baptized, be the other ones i came in and was just there for the baptism haha. Buy he is super awesome, and going to be a great member! The best part was the person who baptized him was a convert of three weeks!! Elder Jacob baptized him the week before i got here and he is the best ever! he's helped us out in visits more than any member has haha. He used to be like high up in the gang here and now he's just over here being a missionary!! 

  We also went to Antigua for P day yesterday!! and it was awesome, there were a ton of white people there haha. But they have so much cool stuff to buy so if you ever come here, go there to buy stuff, just don't pay the first price, half the stuff you can get for like half the price the ask haha. But other than that not much is going on!

Week 14 New Years

Week 14 New Years

so this week has been pretty boring holiday wise. We went to bed at 10:30 on new years and slept through it. Im learning every day and trying to be better. But sometimes its hard. i feel really down sometimes because i cant speak or i don't know what to say, but I'm trying to change my attitude and everything which is helping a ton! 

  This week we had like 8 inv at church bc it was the new year, but hoping that next week we will have 15+. we have some great investigators and were hoping that we can marry and baptise this family Sunday and then we have like 6 possibilities for the next week and more for the week after! so that should be good if they keep progressing. 

   Everyone jokes with me that I'm going to leave my training, in three weeks, and train someone haha and then after that be a DL haha i think its bc everyone thinks that being a DL and everything will suck but i think it would be awesome bc then you just grow more and learn more, I just need to learn Spanish first haha. Nothing else is really happening this week, but i have some pics to send! 

The first ones from our baptism! then my comps birthday was right before Christmas! Then we helped make Tamales, And then the family we hung out with on Christmas!
